Personalised Digital Learning Programme
MOE is rolling out a Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP) that requires every secondary student to have access to his/her own Personal Learning Device (PLD) by the end 2021. The aims are to enhance teaching and learning, support development of self-directedness, collaborative skills and digital literacies.
With the implementation of the MOE Student Learning Space (SLS) for all schools, students can also use their PLDs to access rich resources that are available in the portal to support their own learning anytime and anywhere.
The school has done a careful study and evaluation of all the possible devices that could be used for learning and selected the iPad 10.2 (8th generation) as the most appropriate PLD that all Sec 1 to 3 students should acquire for the PDLP in 2021. More details on the procurement of PLD under the MOE bulk tender and the funding support given for Singapore and Non-Singapore Citizen students will be provided in Jan 2021.
